The Women Leader of Peoples Democratic Party, AMAC, Mrs Lami Zhiwa passed on in the afternoon of today Wednesday.
This is contained in a press statement made available to journalists in Garki Village by the Senior Special Assistant Media and Public Affairs to AMAC Chairman, Kingsley Madaki.
Zhiwa is Auntie to the Executive Chairman of AMAC, Hon.Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, and the current PDP women leader of PDP AMAC.
According to the statement, it reads:
“In total submission to the will of God, we regret to announce the passing of the PDP women leader women leader.
“The Executive Chairman AMAC, Maikalangu, deeply mourns the death of Mrs Zhiwa, a perfect gentle woman, a unifier, urbane public servant, and a woman of virtue.
“We ask for the understanding of everyone at this mournful period as the government and family mourn the quintessential public servant.
“We pray that Almighty God accepts her return, eases her accounts, admits her in paradise, and upholds her family upon goodness.” the statement concluded.
