The Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council and APC chairmanship candidate, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has received a huge show of support from residents of Kabusa Ward.
During a comprehensive project assessment tour and in recognition of his transformative infrastructure projects and inclusive governance, Maikalangu was honored with the prestigious “Award of Excellent Delivery”.

Thousands of residents lined the streets across thirty-five communities, including Wassa, Burum, Takalafiya, Maraban Takushara, and Lugbe, to celebrate his achievements.
Residents praised key projects under his administration, including the completion of access roads at Damagaza, Wumba, and Kpeyegyi, the ongoing rehabilitation of Durumi-Prince and Princess link road, installation of over forty solar-powered boreholes, and construction of the Durumi 3 Primary Healthcare Centre.

Addressing the crowd, Maikalangu emphasized his move to APC to align AMAC with the “Renewed Hope” agenda of President Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
He highlights initiatives like revenue digitization and the launch of the first local government-owned commercial radio and TV station, the AMAC Broadcasting Service, as proof of a “Smart AMAC” committed to transparency and youth employment. Urging residents to turn their support into votes on 21st February 2026, he says: “This award belongs to all of us who believe in a modern AMAC.”
