The Federal Government has reemphasised commitment to partnering traditional institutions and other relevant stakeholders towards driving economic growth and social cohesion in the country.
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, stated this when he led Top Management Staff of the Ministry on a courtesy visit to the Lamido of Adamawa and Chairman of the Adamawa State Council of Traditional Rulers, Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha,.

According to the minister, the move aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda of stabilising the nation’s economy and improving the lives of citizens,.
Mr, Edun who took time to outline various efforts undertaken by the government to reposition the economy, expressed optimism that the initiative would yield positive results and improve the lives of Nigerians.

On his part, the Lamido of Adamawa Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha appreciated the Ministry’s initiative and pledged his support for the government’s economic growth and development efforts in the State.
A statement signed by the Director, Information and Public Relations of the ministry, Mohammed Manga says the minister who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Lydia Shehu Jafiya, notes that the visit marked the conclusion of the 2025 Senior Management Staff Retreat
