In a move aimed at improving access and easing movement for residents, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, has directed that the ongoing Airport Road project be extended to link Tunga Madaki and other surrounding communities within Abuja.
The directive was given during an on-the-spot assessment of the road project, where the FCT Minister expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and stressed the need to ensure that nearby communities benefit directly from major infrastructure developments. According to the Minister, connecting the Airport Road to Tunga Madaki will boost economic activities, enhance connectivity, and further support the FCT Administration’s drive for inclusive development across the nation’s capital.
